Arsenal confirm Spain midfielder Cazorla is leaving the club

first_imgArsenal announced on Monday that Spanish midfielder Santi Cazorla will leave the club this summer when his contract ends.  El Arsenal despide a Cazorla IN SPORT.ES EFE Villarreal president Fernando Roig has already assured the club will help the former Spain international “in any way he needs.” 21/05/2018 Cazorla, 33, has not played since 2016 due to an ankle injury but returned to training this month and is now expected to do preseason with former club Villarreal.  “Santi is always one of my favourite players to watch,” chief executive Ivan Gazidis said. “His natural ability with both feet, his speed of thought and movement were central to our best performances in recent years. “He plays with a joy and freedom which is very rare.
